Image from my cinemachine camera tutorial .
This weeks tutorial was very basic , which compared to last week was really nice . The first part of the tutorial was focusing n the camera, I remember last semester how annoy and difficult cameras can be so i was not looking forward to it at all but I was pleasantly surprised to find out 2d cameras are much easier in unity then the 3D ones. Cinemachine was a great tool to be bale to learn about , although we were only shown the basics there appears to be many function to it that we can learn about in the future. Next up was the particles such as a smoke effect , this was a bit more complicated then the camera one was but it was still manageable , there was alot of going back and forth since i had forgotten some of the stuff from previous tutorials such as splicing the sprites and so on but other then that it was a really interesting tutorial , i especially enjoyed the editing the animation of the effects to make it look alive. I believe we are almost done with ruby's adventure tutorials maybe only 1 or 2 more weeks so i am looking forward to doing the final tutorials and then get started on my own game .
